Privacy policy

We do not store your bank statements. Your PDF is held in memory only for the few seconds it takes to read it, and is discarded as soon as the conversion finishes. We do not keep the file, the extracted rows, or the converted output.

The PDF you upload. It is read in memory to extract the transaction table. It is never written to disk and never placed in a database or object store.

The extracted rows. These are encrypted and returned to your own browser so that the file can be built when you pay. They exist in your browser tab and nowhere else. Closing the tab discards them.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Card, UPI and banking details are entered on Razorpay’s interface and never reach our servers. We receive only an order identifier, a payment identifier and a confirmation of success.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (timestamp, IP address, user agent, response status). These are used to keep the service running and to investigate faults. They do not contain the contents of your statement.

If your PDF has no text layer — a scan or a photograph — the pages are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to be read. Anthropic processes the pages to return the transaction rows and does not use API data to train its models. If you would prefer this not to happen, upload a text-based PDF downloaded from your net banking instead.

We will never ask for your net banking username, password, PIN, OTP, card number or CVV. No part of this service requires access to your bank account. If anything claiming to be PayPerStatement asks you for these, it is not us.

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Razorpay may set cookies necessary to complete a payment when its checkout window is open.

Because we do not retain your statements, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to export or erase. For questions about this policy, or to ask about the limited technical logs described above, write to support@payperstatement.com.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes to how we handle uploaded files will be stated plainly at the top of this page.
